Skydiving is an exceptional sport with a diverse range of incredible people. With only around 3,000 active jumpers in Australia, of which only 400 of those are females, we often wonder why there are not hundreds of thousands of people jumping...
The goal of this female skydiving convention with educational seminars and record attempts, plus to gain exposure for the sport, it’s people and it’s drop zones has been achieved! We need to look after the jumpers we already have in the sport in addition to encouraging more people to become involved. It's as simple as that. A wise man (Miff) once said, "Get the chicks jumping and the guys will follow." The more girls on the drop zone, naturally there will be more men. Great theory; we're running with that!
